Hotel Colonial Inn Barranquilla , Barranquilla (Atlantico)

I had a mixed experience at the hostel. The rooms were spacious and had so many beds that we could barely move around, but for only 17€, who can complain? The staff went out of their way to help, especially during a national holiday, which was much appreciated. The location was not as close to the Carnival parade as I hoped, but it was perfect for a quiet stay away from the chaos. The lack of dining options was a downside, but at least I got to try some local pastries. The facilities were basic but served their purpose well.

The hotel had an overwhelming number of beds in the room, making it challenging to move around, and the strong bad odor made the stay unpleasant. The cleanliness was lacking, and the persistent unpleasant smell was a major downside. On the positive side, the hotel staff went out of their way to assist during a national holiday, offering friendly and helpful service.
